Doing it for Britain
|
It's all gone a bit British. British beef is back on
the menu, British farm produce is all the rage and the British
economy is... well that one is best left alone. But, after a
whirlwind first year we're continuing our
commitment to new British musicals by announcing our two shows for
the Edinburgh Fringe. Are we excited? You bet.
Following the sell out runs of Jet Set Go!
at the Edinburgh Fringe 2008, Theatre503 and Jermyn Street Theatre
we proudly present a new piece from the same team. Titled The
Great British Soap Opera we head behind the TV screen to see
what life is really like as a daytime star. With cheeky songs and a
fast paced book the team bring their unique brand of humour, dance
and song back to the Fringe.
Playing in rep with this show will be our latest discovery by two
new writers. Chat! - The Internet Musical takes a fun
glance at celebrity culture, all set within an internet chat room.
Do you know your ROFL from your BRB? A hilarious look at the
phenomenon of the online chatting sphere.
Stop by and see us at the Fringe and pop back to the site soon. We
have some news of a London production on the horizon...
