We went to Edinburgh with
two shows and we've come back with four! We've just announced
London's first ever transfer season of new British musicals direct
from Edinburgh, right
in the heart of the West End at the Jermyn Street Theatre. The
season is being headlined by two award wining shows and will also
feature showcases of two exciting new musicals.

The Great British Soap
Opera will begin the season following fantastic press and a sell
out run. Composer Pippa Cleary has just won an MTM award for her
work on the show and the transfer follows in the footsteps of our
previous hit at Jermyn Street - Jet Set Go!
While in Edinburgh we were
blown away by Over The Threshold which we had previously had
our eye on while it was being developed with Perfect Pitch. The show
just won the MTM award for Most Promising New Music and will take the two weeks after
Soap Opera, with an amazing West End cast.
Alongside the headline shows
Take Note Theatre present two works from promising young voices,
demonstrating the company’s commitment to developing new musical
theatre writing.
Six Ways and
Chat! The Internet
Musical enjoyed
successful runs in Edinburgh and this London season offers a unique
opportunity for young writers to showcase their work in the capital.
Developed at the Liverpool
Institute for Performing Arts,
Six Ways
questions the existence of ‘the perfect relationship through the
eyes of three couples as they battle with addiction, adultery and
ambition. Chat! The Internet Musical
is the debut of writer Lee Freeman and features a confused teenager,
a narcissistic celebrity, a desperate housewife and a single mum who
are brought together on a lonely night via the internet.
It should be a fantastic
season at Jermyn Street and a chance to sample the flavours of the
Edinburgh Fringe. More details and to book

Following the summer we'll also be returning to our American interests
with an exciting new UK professional premiere of
